Is there any difference in the quality of the Carbon Express arrows I buy at Walmart for $6.50 and the ones I can buy from the expensive sporting good stores?

The Walmart arrows are typically the least expensive model arrows. The better quality model arrows should be available at your local proshops and sporting good stores.
So, that is the polite answer to your question.

The arrows sold at Walmart are certainly good enough for back yard practice and hunting, but I would recommend going to your local Pro-shop for your best service and quality matching of your equipment for better accuracy.

First of all as you said yourself, there is a difference.
First of all the price.
I don't know if you looked right cause CX has a lot of new arrows. Maybe the Walmart sells old arrows, and believe me
there is a difference between the new ones and the old ones.
The new one gives better gouping, better spine selection, etc.

It's always your choice where you buy your arrows, but to be sure i would buy at a pro shop.

I have always said you get what you pay for. Walmart is a very bad place to buy anything that you will need more then one or two uses. they sell the cheap of the cheap. never mind how they treat the people that work there. go to the local proshop and spend a couple more buck you will be a lot happy with both the service and what you get.
good luck

Good points by all here. As was mentioned you get what you pay for. Yes you are still getting Carbon Express arrows and yes they will work. Carbon Express doesn't make a junk arrow so you don't have to worry about that. However every company has a inexpensive model and a top of the line model. I gurantee that no matter how good of a shooter you are, you can not shoot the same groups with the inexpensive arrows as you can with the top of the line arrows. Having said that, it is totally up to you and your pocket book. Look at it this way, no matter what you decide as long as it says Carbon Express on it your already light years ahead of the other guys! If you can afford just 6 arrows instead of a dozen of the top end arrows it's still better than a dozen of the inexpensive arrows. Good luck to you this season. Just in case your wondering, I'm not a part of any field or pro staff for Carbon Express nor are we sponsored by them, I just tell it how it is and I shoot what I think is the best.
Sincerely, Dan Hudzik-Full Throttle Adventures

I dont mean to be the Pro-Wal-Mart guy in the group but I bought some terminator 4560s at walmart on sale and have shot 3 deer with the same arrow. 2 does and a nice 8 point. I refletched it once, checked it over, but a new muzzy on it and it is in my quiver now. I guess the point is cx carbon arrows are so good these days even cheap ones are miles ahead of the arrows of 10 years ago and surely are good enough to hunt with.

Well put Dan ... thank you for your input.

A "Mart's" arrows will work just fine and are of the same good quality as listed in the Carbon Express product catalogue. However, getting your "Mart" purchased arrows cut to your ideal length and inserts installed can offend your local proshop or they may ask a slight service charge to set-up arrows.

wal-mart buys in bulk thats how you get them cheeper than from the pro shop. Look them up the same arrow at the pro shop will be priced higher. But the arrows wal-mart has are not the top of the line of what ever company makes them. You are better off spending a few more bucks and get arrows that are more consistant in spine and weight and as was stated unless your going to cut and install inserts your self you will more than lickly end up spending more to have it done at the pro shop. Ive shot the bulk store CX and I am currently shooting pro shop CX arrows and ive got the same 1 to 2" group from both.
