AFC 2400 Carbon Arrow Weight Rating
Posted on: Sun, 2008-07-27 19:54

I have some AFC 2400 carbon arrows that I have been unable to determine the weight rating for. I am hoping someone here might know if they would be OK in a bow set for 62 Lbs.

Thanks

I have shot afc arrows for many years, and the 2400 arrows are for 70# bows. I shoot a hoyt trykon 60# bow and I shoot the 2300 afc. The weight for the 2400 is 9.3g to 9.7g per/inch. The 2300 is 8.3g to 8.7g per/in.

good luck

It has been about 12 years since I have dealt with that particular shaft. But as I recall, your spine should be very close for the draw weight you mentioned. Is that arrow the Camo finish or all black. There is a substantial difference in the mass weight - almost 100 grains - with the all black shafts being much lighter. I would use them up if they fly for you. Good luck.
